We, 3 sisters and their husbands, were able to take a beautiful boat trip under the inspiring leadership of John Braas. This has become a trip you will never forget, we saw beautiful houses, nature and beautiful sights. But I also really enjoyed a pleasant, knowledgeable skipper! We will definitely do this again. And also the bed and breakfast. I can highly recommend it to everyone! I give 5 stars ❤️

We stayed at Villa Braas for the second time last month, where we were completely taken care of by John and Ageeth.
A complete surprise for me was the four-hour boat trip across the Loosdrechtse Plassen, with John as captain. Ageeth had prepared a delicious drinks box, it was beautiful weather, a beautiful sloop, wonderful music, very pleasant company, so all situational circumstances were present to Enjoy with a capital G. It was truly fantastic!
It is wonderful to experience how John and Ageeth complement each other, so that we only have to enjoy a delicious breakfast, a beautiful room (Van Gogh), where nothing is lacking and the beautiful surroundings of Villa Braas.

We had fantastic days at Villa Braas. What a beautiful place and what lovely people!!!
The room is tastefully decorated and the view over the water is great. Everything was right ❤️
Upon arrival, the delicious drinks box was ready with a bottle of house wine. Who still does that nowadays? Yes, at Villa Braas.

The boat trip with Captain John is definitely recommended. Just tell us what music you want and he will turn it on for an atmospheric tour. We have visited the most beautiful places. Never knew it was so beautiful there. And Captain John knows everything about this area and where the Rich and Famous from the Low Countries have their 'house' there. Along the way we had a delicious meal from the picnic basket that was lovingly prepared by Ageeth.
The breakfasts were also delicious, especially the spinach omelette. Well what more can I say…. I think everyone should discover for themselves how magical this place is.
Thanks to John and Ageeth, we will definitely be back 🥰😎
